Greetings! In the summer of 1986, I went to the theatre to see the movie The Transformers! I was very much into the cartoon & toys. I walked away mesmerized, and bought the soundtrack cassette! After that movie, I had to have it! Lion's song The Transformers changed my life forever! To this very day I listen to that song and feel something I can't describe! Doug's solo is beyond words for me! This may sound silly, but that song did truly change me, as it opened up a whole new world for me.

Fast-forward many years later, now we have Burning Rain. I'm quite fond of BMR and Doug's solo work (incredible!) and BR is no letdown. I admit I was not expecting the lyrical content, but it is actually refreshing in this "day & age", especially in the US. The quality of musicianship is what gets me! BR is dead-on, perfect. I just don't hear anything that I would've preferred to sound different. That doesn't happen often! The production fits the music well, and overall this album bleeds of confidence and sheer professionalism. Thanks a lot guys! Coming from someone who's a dedicated Metalhead, it's also great to hear some top-notch Hard Rock!

And Doug, thank you! It's been over 13 years since I first heard The Transformers. It was the first album I ever bought for myself, and that song and your solo inspire me to no end! The music you've created thru the years elevates me to a new level. There are clouds in my mind, and I thank you my friend.

My father heard "Burning Rain" and has been frequently asking me if
I have seen the CD anywhere, but of course I haven't. I would like to
purchaset the CD but I need info on as to how. Please let me know.

I watched news on TV about an earthquake in L.A. tonight.
I hope that it was not so serious.

When i bought "Burning Rain" i knew it would be good,But Hey,its
PHENOMENAL,I LOVE Doug's playing,Keith is FANTASTIC ,i bought
Medicine Wheel+Guest list which feature Keith.
Did Keith's listed previous bands release ANYTHING!!.
I hope BR come to ENGLAND as i LOVED LION +BMR and never saw them!!.

Hey you guys, I was just checking in. I hope everyone is doing well and digging the album. Thank you for all the comments from everyone around the world and in Japan! We are gonna be in rehearsal this week in N. Hollywood. We hope to do some gigs in the US after the Japan tour. We have alot of work and stuff to do so we can get the record out everywhere.We are REALLY looking forward to the Japan tour first.
